TV COMEDIAN CARL HUTCHINSON
BEST MATE AND TOUR SUPPORT FOR  CHRIS RAMSEY
AT
LOL COMEDY CLUB
FIRST DIRECT ARENA LEEDS

Carl Hutchinson was somewhat of a comedy prodigy starting stand up comedy in 2007 just one year into his mathematics degree at Newcastle University and quickly became a multi-award winning comedian.

He's now well on his way to being one of the leading acts in the country. So much so he's the support act of choice for TV comedian, Chris Ramsey (BBC1s Live at the Apollo, and pretty much all the panel shows including ITVs Celebrity Juice and Never Mind the Buzzcocks etc). Normally the household names change support act for each tour but he's been chosen for all of them!

Carl’s debut Edinburgh Fringe Festival solo show 'Acceptable?' made the Top 10 shows of the Amused Moose Laughter Awards 2012. In 2010 Carl starred in ITV’s FHM Comedy Hero and was part of Just the Tonic’s Big Value Edinburgh Showcase in 2011.

Over the past two years, Carl has supported sell out tours with WWE Legend Mick Foley on his UK tour and Chris Ramsey on his tour The Most Dangerous Man on Saturday Morning Television.

Carl has that immediately likeable star quality and uses it to get away with quite grumpy material about modern life that only makes you love him all the more.

"Almost argumentative and very funny" BBC

"Hutchinson held a 200-strong crowd in the palm of his hand." The Publican

“The phrase ‘One to watch’ gets bandied around a lot on the comedy circuit, but Carl is one of a few new comedians where it actually applies.” Evening Gazette

Forget Russell Brand, Mancunian Mike Newall is regarded by many as having the best hair in the UK comedy scene with a throwback to Oasis in 1990 he's one for the ladies and the gents too. As a result many are now calling him 'The Real Magic Mike'. Fortunately he's also one of the country's most consistently reliable comedy storytellers and proud possessor of a breezy, casual style that’s the envy of many of his contemporaries. Frankly we’ve never seen a comedian so laid back and yet packing so much comedic power. Swiss clock timing and that certain knack for a sharp turn of phrase means he is living proof that you can’t learn to be funny, it’s a gift and he has it by the bucket load. Manchester has had more than its fair share of comedy heritage over the years, he is without doubt the latest smooth talking, globetrotting Manc export and could even go on to become the greatest. Mike has that rare knack of being like the boy the next door but with huge star quality. He’s like your best, most humorous friend - only funnier! “Is a master of the art of comedy and effortlessly likeable” The List “Perfectly crafted … Pin sharp, his control is deft and his hair is immaculate." The Scotsman

David Hadingham keeps audiences hooked right up to the last punchline as he presents his unique and often warped view of everyday life. This gravel-voiced comic combines supremely controlled delivery with inimitable facial contortions as he cracks some of the best handmade gags in the business. TV appearances include David Hadingham as a member of the audience in that hilarious programme ‘Beadle About’ and as an onion in ‘Floyd on Fish’ (David tells us that Floyd wasn’t actually ‘on Fish’, he was actually ‘on Valium’). David’s ambition is to see his name in print and spelt correctly (see above) and to be described in the comedy listings as an ‘amusing comedian’ or even ‘highly enjoyable’. Although The Guardian didn’t spell his name correctly they did call him a ‘ranting, raving comic genius’, so we can’t really argue with that. Television & Radio  ITV – Jonathan Ross’s Big Big Talent Show London Live/ GLR Channel 4 – Gas Virgin Radio Channel 5 – The Jack Docherty Show Kiss FM

Damion Larkin will often improvise his entire set to hilarious effect. There are no genuine comparisons to this man. He is a versatile and creative comedian who always leaves audiences wanting more. “Industrious in rotating his material…which is warmly and intelligently told”  Chortle "One of the country’s top new acts” BBC (this was years ago so now he's just one of the country's comedians! haha)

All line ups are subject to change, but don’t worry, we’ll only replace them with someone just as funny!
